Reading + Literacy
Did you know that speech and language skills are the foundation of reading success? Research states that children who enter kindergarten with speech and language difficulties are twice as likely to have reading difficulties. As a former elementary educator, I am passionate about bridging the gap between speech and reading. Our therapists are trained in the science of reading and certified in the “Pre-Reading and Reading SLP” framework. Difficulties with phonological awareness, decoding, comprehension, and storytelling can impact a child’s ability to read, understand, and express ideas.
